Description
Library module for RosarioSIS. Manage your school library documents (book, magazine, CD, etc.) and lend them to students, parents and staff.
Documents are organized in categories. Loans history, for each user and document, can be consulted.
The library is shared amongst schools within RosarioSIS.
Translated in French, Spanish, Slovenian and Portuguese (Brazil).

Premium module
The Library Premium module features:
- Set a Color code for each document Category.
- Document Fields: add custom fields (type, ISBN, collection, editor, language, state, etc.)
- Limit document Category Visibility to selected User Profiles and Grade Levels.
- Upload and attach file (PDF, epub, MP3, etc).
- Search documents globally by Reference, Title, Author and Year.
- Return Comment.
- Quick Loan: quickly search and lend a document to the selected user or student.
- Portal and automatic email notifications when documents are late / past due date.
- Admin Dashboard integration.
- Loans Breakdown by month and category.
Automation
In order to automatically perform actions, you can trigger the following URLs (logged in as an administrator).
Loans (Students):
Modules.php?modname=Library_Premium/Loans.php&type=student&student_id=__STUDENT_ID__
Loans (Users):

Then, from the Loans screen, you can return a document in one click or lend a document (Quick Loan) for this student / user.
Note: you must activate both free and Premium modules.
Install
Copy the Library/
folder (if named Library-master
, rename it) and its content inside the modules/
folder of RosarioSIS.
Go to School > Configuration > Modules and click “Activate”.
Requires RosarioSIS 10.7+
Demo
The Library module can be freely previewed in the online demonstration of RosarioSIS.
Note: Activate the module first if it is not appearing in the left menu.
