[Solved] Error when using Students Import

I am using the students import module for the first time today.
After I select my Excel spreadsheet and matched all the columns, then clicked on "Import Students"

I received this error message:

Can you reproduce the error on the demo site?

Have you tried updating the module?

On the system log, I see this:

Hello.
Students import on the Demo site worked using the same spreadsheet. The difference I see is Demo site has the Students import premium. I have the other version.

I just ran a git pull and there is no change.

Thank you for the demo site. I will take closer look on my server now.

I did a recursive grep on the entire rosariosis git repo to find any references to students_seq and the only thing I found was in ./ProgramFunctions/UpdateV4_5.fnc.php:

$rename_sequence( 'students_seq', 'students_student_id_seq' );

In one test, I commented out that line and the import error is still the same.

Just tested Demo site again, this time I created the User fields to be same as my use case, then imported 2 students. This time, with only 2 students, the import process gave a lot more warnings but still successfully imported.

Warning Warning

Row #4: No names were found.
Row #5: No names were found.
Row #6: No names were found.
...
...
Row #953: No names were found.
Row #954: No names were found.
Row #955: No names were found.

Note: Check 2 students were imported.

The lines that generate the error are here:

If the condition is executed, it is because your ROSARIO_VERSION is inferior to 5.0-beta.

If your includes/StudentsImport.fnc.php is in the last version, then the error logically originates in your ROSARIO_VERSION constant:

I found my error, I must had cloned this from the instruction I had awhile ago from github:

url = https://github.com/francoisjacquet/Students_Import.git

What I want is the gitlab version:

url = https://gitlab.com/francoisjacquet/Students_Import.git
