Related to fingerprint, there is the TTHotel Smart Locks module. TT smart locks offer fingerprint unlock, although the school who sponsored the module does not use fingerprints, only NFC, so fingerprints have not been tested / integrated.
This will be a Premium module, so it is not available on GitLab. But you can read the README from the demo (go to menu School > Configuration, "Modules" tab).
Related to RFID (NFC which is derived from RFID), there is the Entry and Exit module combined with the NFC/QR Actions module.
Those modules have not been publicized yet.
This works by generating a unique URL for a student / user, and then you write it to a NFC tag.
Then, when the student / user swipes his tag, RosarioSIS opens in the browser, and the user (admin or even teacher) selects the action he wants to perform (an action can be preselected for the session). So this opens to lots of possibilities 
To add actions (add entrance or exit record automatically using an NFC card), refer to the Automation section of the README.

Those are examples used by a school, but basically, any URL in RosarioSIS can be transformed into an action, if relevant.
