FY GPA not exactly correct in calculation

Hi, I need help with this issue that we have noticed. The quarterly GPA's are are automatically calculated but the FY GPA is calculated not exactly correct when the Report Card is printed or generated.
Ex. Q1 Q2 Q3 Q4 FY
3.59/4 3.76/4 3.85 /4 3.93 /4 3.68 /4
If we sum up the 4 quarters and divide by 4 the FY GPA should be 3.78 but in the Report Card shows 3.68.
And also why in the Report Card FY GPA column there is /4?
I have no idea on how to fix this problem. I need help on this matter. Thank you very much

What are the final grading percentages as set in the Grades > Configuration program?

Also, are you referring to the GPA of all courses (cumulative), or of one course in particular?

Thank you for your reply. Actually, I'm referring the GPA to all courses. I will also review the credits of each course. Thank you for this information.

On second thought, you might have luck reviewing the Credits associated to each course period.

Here is the help:

Credits is both the coefficient used to weigh Final Grades in order to calculate the overall / cumulative GPA, and the Credits attempted by students. 0 credits will be earned by a student whose grade is below the minimum (see the "Minimum Passing Grade" field in the Grades > Grading Scales program for configuration). Credits earned can be displayed on Transcripts and Credits can be displayed on Report Cards. For example, if you assign 4 credits to a Full Year Course Period and have 4 Quarters, students will earn 1 credit for each Quarter.

Your issue might be a credit issue.

For example, if you have course A with 2 credits.
And course B with 1 credit.
The cumulative GPA calculation will weigh course A twice as much as course B.
